I also offer full-day care for many no-school days. For contracted families, this includes an additional fee of $50 for a full day of care, or $25 additional for a half day of care. If space is available, non-contracted students can register for no-school days for a drop-in rate of $95 for the full day.

On no-school days, I provide mini field trips in Sherwood to offer a variety of experiences for kids in my care. Examples so far this school year: Tumblebears Children’s Gym, Beekeeper Field Trip; Pearl Street Urban Farm, and a Sherwood Parks Extravaganza! On these days, I also provide morning and afternoon snacks, and lunch. Hours open are 8:30am-5:30pm

These are photos from a local beekeeper friend. The kids learned SO MUCH about bees, and I created a variety of activities and art to do the rest of the day to enrich the beekeeping field trip. Each kid got to bring home some honey, and a few other things I put together in a little goody bag for them.

These are photos from a local farm right here in Sherwood- Pearl Street Urban Farm. The kids learned SO MUCH about farming, got to pet goats, learn about chickens, plant dahlia bulbs, make mayonnaise, play hide and seek in the garden, eat a sack lunch under the pergola, and learn from youth with Embrace Compassion.
